Halimah Najieb-Locke

Halimah Najieb-Locke is the Vice President of Policy and Strategy for Entanglement, Inc where she forms policy initiatives in support of the company’s mission to advance next-generation computing, artificial intelligence, trusted intelligence. Ms. Najieb-Locke served within the Department of Defense as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Industrial Base Resilience and also held positions within the House of Representatives, serving as the Senior Procurement Counsel for three congressional committees. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of San Francisco and a law degree from George Washington University Law School.

Asad Akram

Asad Akram serves as the Office of Strategic Capital's Deputy Director for Strategy in the U.S. Department of Defense. OSC's mission is to attract and scale private capital in support of national security. OSC's current focus is on the development and implementation of new financial tools to increase public-private investment in supply chains and technologies vital to national security. Previously, Asad worked as a strategy and M&A consultant advising corporate and private sector clients in the energy, technology, industrials, and defense sectors. Asad has an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, an MBA from Rice University, and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Chemical Engineering from Lafayette College.

Amy Morgan is the Vice President, Trade Compliance at Altana. She leads global trade and compliance solutions for the enterprise and public sector alike, serving customers like Boston Scientific, L.L.Bean, Maersk, US Customs and Border Protection, and the UK Department of Business and Trade. Amy is a Licensed US Customs Broker with over two decades of experience working in international trade and compliance. Prior to Altana, Amy created Avalara’s cross-border business unit, and has managed global trade and customs compliance operations for Amazon, Costco Wholesale, Nordstrom, and Microsoft.
